
The Aiken Department of Public Safety Narcotics investigators have concluded a six-month investigation into numerous individuals selling illegal narcotics on the 100 block of Kershaw Street NE. As a result of the investigation the following individuals have been arrested and charged:
- Anthony Davis Coates (42) of Aiken, SC. He was charged with distribution of crack cocaine and distribution of crack cocaine within 1⁄2 mile of a school.
- Dezmand Davontaye Williams (23) of Aiken, SC. He was charged with two (2) counts of distribution of crack cocaine, distribution of marijuana, and two (3) counts of distribution within 1⁄2 mile of a school.
- Pierce James Cade (22) of Aiken, SC. He was charged with three (3) counts of distribution of crack cocaine and three (3) counts of distribution of crack cocaine within 1⁄2 mile of a school.
- A fourth individual, Joshua Devon Pettus, 25, of Neeses, SC (pictured at right)
was also identified as a result of the investigation. He is currently wanted for three (3) charges of distribution of crack cocaine and three (3) counts of distribution of crack cocaine within 1⁄2 mile of a school.
